How does it work?
We utilize Doxy.me, a HIPAA compliant and convenient platform. At the time of your appointment, you will receive either a text message or an Email link. You will be routed to our online waiting room where your doctor will start your visit. Prior to your visit, you will be sent mandatory consent forms that better explain the benefits and limitations of telemedicine visits.
I would like to see my doctor in person. Is telemedicine mandatory?
When scheduling your appointment you will have the option of coming into the office to see the doctor in person. Some patients will need to come in depending on the nature of the injury. However, the only exception to this is if you are actively showing symptoms of cough, fever, shortness of breath, or history of recent exposure. In this case, we will recommend a virtual visit until your symptoms resolve and 14 days have passed.
If I choose to come into the office, what is being done to prevent the spread of COVID-19?
We are taking strong measures to prevent spread of COVID-19. This includes but not limited to:
A pre-visit questionnaire
Temperature and symptom check
Mandatory mask, hand washing, and glove policy
Physical barriers
Limiting the number of people in the waiting room
Deep cleaning of the exam room areas before and after every patient visit.
